Cedar Point Bag Policy

Cedar Point provides all-day lockers for visitors inside the Main Gate and at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark. You have no restrictions to access throughout the day to grab things or add items to your locker. You can rent these lockers using a credit card. Debit cards and coins are not accepted and the lockers are not available for overnight rentals. Various ride entrances also have secure lockers for you to store your belongings before getting in line for a ride. You can rent moveable lockers that can move from one ride location to another for one price.

If the lockers are full or you have larger items you need to store, bins are available at the Rental Center near the Main Gate. You cannot remove items from the bins or make additions during the day. All items must be retrieved and a new bin rented. The following are not allowed in the bins:

  • Food items
  • Coolers
  • Luggage
  • Valuables, such as cameras or purses

Bag Policy on Cedar Point Rides

You are not allowed to bring bulky items such as backpacks onto rides if they could potentially come between you and the safety restraints. However, you can have a waist pack that isn’t bulky, allowing the ride restraint to be snug against your body.

Most rides also won’t accommodate loose articles such as cameras, hats, phones, umbrellas, and electronic devices. You have to secure these items in your cargo pocket or waist pack, or leave them with a non-rider, in a bin on the ride platform, or in a locker.
