About Circuit of The Americas

Opened in 2012, the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) features a 3.426-mile (5.514 km) motor racing track. The maximum capacity for the venue is 150,000 people and there are plenty of on-site food and beverage options, ranging from Tex-Mex and BBQ to Thai and vegetarian. Motorsport events held at the venue include:

The COTA grounds also include an open-air concert venue recently renamed to the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. It accommodates up to 14,000 people. Additionally, the Bold Stadium soccer field opened in 2019 with stadium seats for 5,000 people.

Circuit of The Americas security screen all bags entering the venue. Any bags or parcels that are larger than 12 x 12 x 20 inches are not allowed. Other prohibited items at motorsport events include:

As of 2020, visitors to the on-site Germania Insurance Amphitheater must have clear bags unless they are smaller than 4.5 x 6.5 inches. No bags larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches will be allowed. The venue also prohibits blankets and lawn chairs larger than 30 x 60 inches.
