What’s Winter Wonderland?

Located in Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland is one of the best destinations for festive fun.

Taking place from 17th November 2023 to 1st January 2024, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland offers a variety of attractions, activities, entertainment, food, drinks, and so much more.

Where is it

Winder Wonderland is held in London’s Hyde Park. The nearest tube stations are Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, Bond Street, Green Park, Knightsbridge, and Lancaster Gate.

What to do

Be it a girl’s night out, a romantic date, an evening with friends or a family adventure, you’ll be spoilt for choices of things to do.

Go straight to the fun area for the thrill rides and roller coasters if you’re an adrenaline junkie, or take your special someone on a trip on the Giant Wheel where you can snap a photo of the beautiful views across the city.

Try your luck at the nearby games for a chance to win a giant teddy (last minute Christmas present anyone?) or wander around the Christmas markets for yummy treats and gifts ideas.

A new entry this year is the Magical Ices Kingdom presents Deep Sea Adventure. With over 500 ice and snow sculptures, this mythical ice journey will take you on an adventure featuring mermaids, gods, and sea creatures. Don’t forget to wear your mittens though as it is chilled to a frosty -10°C. Brrr!

To shake off the cold head to the Ice Rink and show off all your balancing skills while skating to live music. In case that’s not up your street you can go check one of the many shows on site, such as the Zippos Christmas Circus and Cinderella on Ice.

Although entrance to Winter Wonderland is free, some activities require a paid-for ticket. You can buy tickets on the Winter Wonderland website.

Where to drink & eat

Fill your belly with a delicious hog roast at the Christmas market; cosy up by the open fire and toast some marshmallows at The Fire Pit; or get your fill of glühwein , live music and party tunes at the Baverian Village.

For something more exotic, the Bar Ice in sporting a new sub-zero environment inspired by Ancient Greek mythology.

Everything is carved out of ice, even the cocktail glass!, and they provide winter clocks and gloves to keep you warm while the vodka kicks in.
